Wow -- that's cold. Would you believe I'm accustomed to being outdoors in extreme cold? To me, there's something so "alive" about temps so cold that your spit literally turns to ice before hitting the ground. But you're right: Charlotteans are generally a privileged lot...of course, many of them moved here for the climate.
