People may think it's cold in Charlotte, but they have no idea...

Today in my hometown Toronto, Canada the high was 16 degrees Celsius. However with the wind chill in effect it felt more like -29 C
It is so cold that residents are being told when outdoors, exposed skin can be subject to frost bite in as little as 10 minutes.

  1. Wow -- that's cold. Would you believe I'm accustomed to being outdoors in extreme cold? To me, there's something so "alive" about temps so cold that your spit literally turns to ice before hitting the ground. But you're right: Charlotteans are generally a privileged lot...of course, many of them moved here for the climate.
